Since plumbing work is required for the electrical panel, it can lead to significant issues if not done correctly. As someone who has renovated and sold several houses, I don't personally handle plumbing-related tasks. If you lack experience, it's crucial to have a professional or handyman assist you when changing the electrical panel. Raised Garden Bed I'm not sure about the exact term in Korean, but it's a vegetable-growing bed that everyone knows. If you search for a raised garden kit on shopping sites like Amazon, you'll find various options. It's easy to assemble, and once completed, placing it in the right spot in your home looks great. Especially for those thinking of selling their homes, it's a really good investment. Many people have a longing for growing vegetables, and when potential buyers see a well-organized raised garden, they can't help but be drawn to the house. Painting the Front Door The finishing touch to the first impression of your home, the curbside appeal, is a beautifully colored front door. Try painting the usual door colors like ivory, white, or wood in bright and vibrant reds, yellows, greens, or deep bronze. It will change the impression of your home. Painting is a task anyone can easily do. The quality of the work depends on how well you masked and how thoroughly you painted multiple times. House project관련 잡지들 중 힘 좀 쓰는 Bob Vila Magazine에서 누구나 할 수 있는 20가지 DIY project에 대한 기사를 올렸습니다. 함께 어떤 프로젝트들이 있는지 알아보며, 제 개인적인 의견도 곁들여 보겠습니다. 1. 벽지로 꾸미는 벽 잘 아시다시피 요즘 accent wall이라고 해서 특정 공간의 한 벽면을 패턴이 있는 벽지등으로 꾸미는 트랜드가 있습니다. 요즘은 peel and stick wallpapers을 이용하여, 전문가의 도움 없이도 쉽게 이 작업을 하실 수 있습니다. 이 작업하실 때는 작업하시는 공간의 치수를 잘 재셔야 합니다. 그리고 정말 중요한 것은 벽면을 최대한 평평하게 만드셔야 합니다. 작은 튀어나온 곳 만으로도 공기층이 생겨 wall paper 한 장을 통으로 버리게 되는 경우도 발생하거든요. 그리고 재단을 최소화 하셔야 경제적으로도 좋겠죠? 즉, 창문이나 문이 있는 면보다는 그냥 통 벽에 하시는 것이 좋습니다. 게다가 세면대나 선반등이 고정되어 있는 벽은 한 단계 더 어려울 수 밖에 없습니다. 2. 거름 만들기 가드닝이 취미이신 분들은 이미 많이 하시고 계실텐데요, 매년 봄 하드웨어 스토어에서 비싼 가드닝용 흙을 구입하시기 보다는 직접 거름을 만들어 보시는 것도 좋다고 합니다. 주의 하셔야 할 점은 어떤 것들이 거름을 만들 수 있는 재료이고, 어떤 것들이 아닌 지를 아는 것이 중요하다 합니다. 과일, 채소, 커피 찌꺼기, 빨래 건조기의 필터에 끼어있는 먼지들, 신문, 잔디 깎고 남은 것들 등이 거름의 재료로 쓰일 수 있고, 고기나 유제품은 안된다고 합니다. 3. Self-care station 욕실에 화장대 등의 공간이 보다 넓게 퍼질 전망입니다. 또한 욕조에서 개인적인 시간을 보다 즐길 수 있는 악세서리들도 유행할 전망입니다. Wet Rooms Shall we call it a shower room? Creating a small space in dry American bathrooms where you can clean in a wet environment is becoming a significant trend. Over the past few years, there has been a growing trend of installing a bathtub in one space and a shower booth in another for homes with two or more bathrooms. Now, it's not just shower booths; it's common to see bathtubs installed within these wet rooms. Americans are increasingly realizing that wet spaces are more convenient for actual bathing. Warm and Natural Color Harmony This part aligns with points 1 and 2 from the previous article. Comfortable and warm colors like brown, light blush pink, and light green will be the dominating colors for decorating bathrooms in 2022. If you are considering repainting, remember that these warm colors are the new trend, rather than modern colors. Curves This aspect contrasts with kitchen trends. Bathroom trends lean towards curves. Therefore, designs for vanities and fixtures will feature more curved designs. However, personally, I think it might take a few years for these curved designs to fully take hold. Many new houses are still decorating bathrooms with straight-line designs. 지난 부엌트랜드 시리즈에 대한 반응이 좋아, 이번엔 욕실 트랜드를 알아보도록 하겠습니다.
