20 DIY Projects Anyone Can Do - Part 2

Are you interested in decorating your home with DIY projects? However, when it comes to starting, it can be daunting. Bob Vila Magazine, known for its impactful house projects, has published an article on 20 DIY projects anyone can do.

Let's explore some of these projects together, with my personal opinions added.

  • Vinyl Flooring

Bob Vila talks about removing vinyl tiles. Yes, removing vinyl tiles is indeed an easy task. With well-cut sticker-shaped tiles, you can decorate your floor like a pro. Moreover, I believe that installing vinyl flooring is something anyone can do.

I understand that many may feel apprehensive about installing new flooring. However, once you know it, there's no DIY project easier and more effective than this. Especially when you replace your floor with vinyl, you can proceed without worrying about dust. With just scissors for cutting vinyl and an industrial-grade cutter, anyone can lay the floor in a typical room in half a day. There are many excellent tutorial videos on YouTube, making it clear that it's not as difficult as it seems.

  • Raised Garden Bed

I'm not sure about the exact term in Korean, but it's a vegetable-growing bed that everyone knows.

If you search for a raised garden kit on shopping sites like Amazon, you'll find various options. It's easy to assemble, and once completed, placing it in the right spot in your home looks great. Especially for those thinking of selling their homes, it's a really good investment. Many people have a longing for growing vegetables, and when potential buyers see a well-organized raised garden, they can't help but be drawn to the house.

  • Painting the Front Door

The finishing touch to the first impression of your home, the curbside appeal, is a beautifully colored front door.

Try painting the usual door colors like ivory, white, or wood in bright and vibrant reds, yellows, greens, or deep bronze. It will change the impression of your home. Painting is a task anyone can easily do. The quality of the work depends on how well you masked and how thoroughly you painted multiple times.

In the next post, we'll continue exploring 20 DIY projects that anyone can do.
